AAMCO worked on my 93 Chevy, they rebuilt the tranny, the work was in a timely manner. I am 100% happy with the outcome. The truck now shifts smooth now. If you have a problem with your transmission I would let this AAMCO do the repair. I'm having them work on my 93 Jaquar now and I'm sure it will be right as the whole staff is very good at their job.
Have never had better service from an auto repair shop as I have had here. Can’t say enough good things about Curtiss and his team. Got me back on the road quickly and kept lines of communication open the entire time my truck was in the shop. I will go nowhere else for future auto repairs.
I want to thank Curtis and the Team at Aamco in Stuart for the great care and professionalism they showed during my recent visit to their shop. While driving on I-95, the rear differential failed on my daughter’s used Lexus LS420. We had the car towed to Aamco in Stuart, thinking that was a good place to go since at the time we believed there may be other transmission problems as well. Fortunately, after careful inspection and evaluation by Curtis and his expert mechanics, we found out the transmission was in good working order. However, the rear differential and both rear axles had to be replaced. To our dismay, we learned that the car had been driven by the prior owner with no oil in the differential gear box which had apparently leaked out. With no oil in the gear box, the excessive friction and resulting heat warped the gears in the differential and caused the ends of both axles to become out of round and unable to be reinstalled. While evaluating the car to make sure everything needed would be taken care of, Curtis let me know that Aamco has a certified used parts program and would do his best to locate like-new parts at a discount. Luckily, Curtis was able to do that and saved us a LOT of money compared to what it would have cost for brand new. Curtis and the Team did an EXCELLENT JOB putting the rear end back together. The car now drives better than before! And, the parts and labor came with a 1-year warranty! We took our car to Aamco knowing they are transmission experts, but found out they are a lot more than that. Aamco does tune-up and other work, which we know the car will need. We will be going back to Aamco to have that work done soon! I appreciate everything Curtis did for us! He is truly professional and extremely helpful. I strongly recommend Aamco in Stuart for your car care needs!
What a positive experience! The staff is kind, understanding & patient. Our 06 dodge 3500 was fixed up w a new clutch assy & some other stuff making Birtha the 4th shift like butter. Thx a bunch folks!
