AAMCO worked on my 93 Chevy, they rebuilt the tranny, the work was in a timely manner. I am 100% happy with the outcome. The truck now shifts smooth now. If you have a problem with your transmission I would let this AAMCO do the repair. I'm having them work on my 93 Jaquar now and I'm sure it will be right as the whole staff is very good at their job.
I had a truly excellent experience today with Curtiss and his shop where I had my new truck, a 2004 Nissan Frontier, evaluated. After the checkup, including road test, Curtis thoroughly explained the findings (advised a simple and inexpensive recommendation for performance improvement), walked me through the undercarriage status (all good), and left me feeling confident that I made a very good decision on both the vehicle and the shop. Curtis and his team were amazing. As someone with limited knowledge on the mechanical workings of cars, having someone that I feel I can trust is massively important. Curtis was able to explain what was wrong, and provide updates and fair pricing. Ended up not getting my car fixed here, simply because the vehicle was old and not worth the repairs. If I need transmission work in the future, this will be the first place I go hands down.
